About My Practice

There are few practical things regarding my practice that you should know

Predator's Love

Confidentiality

Everything that you share with me will remain confidential.

Privacy Policy

  • All your data will be secured in compliance with the GPDR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • I will hold in a database your name, address, contact details, and details of the sessions you attend. All such data will be collected securely using encrypted tools.

  • I will never sell or distribute your details to anyone else.

  • If at any time you want to see what data I keep about you or you want to update your details, you will be able to do so.

Health and Wellbeing

You are always responsible for your health & wellbeing. It is your responsibility to inform me of any mental, emotional, or physical health problems or disabilities that may be relevant to our work together.

Fees
My rate is 70 pounds. I am open to offer a concession rate, if your personal situation and actual income justify it. Let's discuss it.

In person sessions

I receive my clients in my studio in SeaMills, Bristol.

COVID 19

Safety is paramount, so you are required to avoid attending in-person sessions if you start developing symptoms related to SARS COVID 19.

Online sessions

Please note that, although unlikely to be hacked, online communications are never fully secure. By signing this document, you acknowledge that you are entering into this format with awareness of its limitations.

Cancellation policy

If you decide that you need to cancel or amend an appointment, please email/text me at least 24hours before to avoid the cancellation fee.

  • Up to 24 hours’ notice - I will refund you the fee paid, or this can be used for another date.

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or for non-attendance: 100% of the full session fee is due and I will not refund that except in exceptional circumstances. True emergencies that cannot be foreseen can be negotiated (sudden illnesses, accidents, or unpredicted loss of childcare).

Benefits and Risks

Somatic Experiencing, especially during the release of a self-protective response or body memory, can also unexpectedly bring up emotions, thoughts, pain, physical reactions, or memories that may be upsetting, depressing, evoke anger, etc. It is also quite common for the body to vibrate or tremble during a release, and for clients to experience a sense of fatigue or soreness after a session.

Such reactions are not uncommon and can be attended to in the course of our work together.

The goal of Somatic Experiencing is to help you experience emotions and sensations in a way that is not overwhelming, so that you can learn to both tolerate discomfort, move through challenging experiences with more resiliency, and restore balance and the ability to feel pleasure and joy.

It is your responsibility to tell me when you are uncomfortable with any parts of the treatment. If you have any questions about SE, please ask and I will do my best to answer your questions in full.

You have the right to always refuse or terminate treatment, or to refuse touch and SE techniques.

I reserve the right to only take on people I consider suitable for this work. If for any reason and at any time I choose not to work with you or feel I can’t best serve your needs, then I will refer you to someone else.
